The Panther's Greg Olsen should be celebrating all his accomplishments on the football field, but off the field is where Greg Olsen's greatest win took place! Greg's youngest child, TJ, just celebrated his 4th birthday!
Four years ago, TJ was born with a congenital heart defect, called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). TJ fought for his life undergoing several open-heart surgeries. "I wish I was a tough as him," Olsen said. "...What he's gone through in the first eight months of his life is more than any of us have gone through in a lifetime."
Join OMB Yoga On Tap as we celebrate TJ Olsen and support The Olsen's HEARTest YARD Foundation. We all love #88 Greg Olsen! But on Tuesday, October 25th, you will meet a dad that loves his kids more than anything and is making it his mission to help others!
The Charlotte yoga community joins Greg's mission! GAME TIME 6pm at The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery! Get there early to get raffle tickets & your spot! Fun begins at 6pm.
Erica Kiely will lead Yoga On Tap at 6:30pm
Erica Kiely currently resides in Charlotte, NC after living in western North Carolina for much of her life. She has always practiced some form of yoga even as a child looking through her mother’s yoga book. It wasn’t until college that she took her first guided practice that she instantly fell in love. What started out as a way to get in shape quickly turned into a passion. After discovering the healing powers of yoga both mentally and physically, she knew that she found her calling. She completed her 200 RYT certification in April of 2015, during an immersion course in Costa Rica under Marianne Wells. She currently teaches at Be Yoga, Laughing Buddha, and private one on one sessions along with Thai yoga therapy.
Erica offers you the opportunity to stay in the present moment allowing you to step out of your comfort zone and explore new spaces. She brings an open heart to her practice, along with a fun, playful yet challenging class allowing you to feel comfortable regardless if it’s your first yoga experience or your millionth. Allow yourself to be filled with love and compassion on October 25th, as we flow through a heart opening sequence. Join us as we come together as a community to support those who truly need a little extra help with their heart center.
Please bring a mat and plan to get there early. Admission is $5 and includes an OMBrew or soda. Music will be provided by Dead Man's Banjo! HALVE A HEART shirts will be on sale for $25. Lots of silent auction items to win. Proceeds go to support The HEARTest YARD Foundation.
